Sun Salutations & Ujjayi:

Breath-led Movement workshop

In this 75-minute workshop, we’ll slow things down and focus on the foundations of breath-led movement through Sun Salutations A & B. You’ll explore:

  • The rhythm and technique of Ujjayi breathing

  • How to connect breath to movement with ease

  • Refinements to make your practice more fluid, grounded, and personal

Expect a blend of guided practice, short pauses to break things down, and time for questions.

This is for you if you’re:

  • Newer to Ashtanga and want clarity

  • More experienced and want to reconnect to the basics

  • Curious about the breath-body connection

ONLINE IIntro to Ashtanga 3-Part Series

This 3-part series is for you. We’ll take our time exploring the foundational elements of the practice—breath, bandhas, Sun Salutations, and the standing sequence—in a supportive, small-group setting.

You’ll get:

  • A solid understanding of the method

  • Modifications to suit your body

  • A short sequence you can continue practicing on your own

  • Confidence to eventually join a Led or Mysore-style class

This is an encouraging and low-pressure way to begin your journey into Ashtanga. No experience required—just curiosity and a willingness to move and breathe.

Time: 7:30–8:30 AM CST Where: Online (Zoom) Limited to 5 participants

Breathe steadier. Feel clearer. Begin again.

This 3-part course is a gentle and practical introduction to pranayama—the art of working skillfully with your breath to steady the mind and support the nervous system. Whether you’re completely new or returning to your practice, you’ll learn foundational techniques to help you feel more grounded, awake, and connected.

Each 60-minute session includes:

  • A short breath-based warm-up

  • A step-by-step introduction to key breathing techniques (Intro to Nauli, Kapalabhati, Ujjayi, Nadi Shuddhi )

We move gradually, allowing space to feel and reflect. You’ll also receive optional homework for daily practice between sessions.

No prior experience needed. All are welcome.

Mysore style Ashtanga

Come and practice Ashtanga yoga “Mysore Style”. Honoring the Ashtanga vinyasa system, we practice independently, one posture at the time, following the sound of our breath. A self-practice, where we dive into ourselves while being supported by your teacher and your Ashtanga community.

Everybody is welcome. Mysore is THE best place to start an Ashtanga practice.
